Evolving Philosophy 

Since my competitive years in sports and fitness, I’ve shifted my focus to a more holistic and balanced approach. I believe that as we move into and beyond our 40s, it’s the perfect time to prioritise functional strength while maintaining flexibility and mindfulness.

Hi, I’m Maddy, a Level 4 Strength and Conditioning Coach, yoga instructor, and mum of two lively boys.

 

I’ve dedicated over 15 years to the fitness industry, and my passion for this field continues to grow. While I loved competing in my younger years, I now focus on deepening my understanding of what truly works for those of us who are no longer spring chickens. This commitment inspired me to create my own studio, a space I thoughtfully designed to support every client’s journey. It’s not just about having a luxury setting for those who work with me in person; it’s about providing a complete, well-equipped, and functional environment to help you flourish.

 

I’m also furthering my qualifications in nutrition because, while I’ve always provided guidance here, I believe the food we eat plays a major role in every aspect of our lives, and it’s important to me that my clients feel fully supported with high levels of expertise and top-quality information.

What Makes Me Different?

I’m not here to offer quick fixes or preach perfection. I built Energise Wellbeing on the belief that fitness is about true empowerment. Giving YOU what YOU need to move forward and step into your authentic self. There’s something truly transformative about building functional strength and finding clarity in your thoughts. It creates a deep confidence that’s hard to shake.

 

My clients often hear me reminding them to, “Stop saying sorry.” Why? Because you don’t need to apologise for prioritising yourself or being yourself. You don’t just deserve to be on a journey of wellness, you are 100 % worthy of it. Self-care and the rewards it brings are second to none. Ask anyone who has invested time in their health, fitness, and well-being if they regret it, you’ll be hard-pressed to find anyone who does.

What Drives Me?

My mission is simple. I aspire to help my clients reclaim their sense of self, which they may have lost over the years. I want to rebuild confidence and well-being from the inside out, rather than a sole focus on the physical.

Many of my clients come to me after years of putting others first, realising they’ve developed habits that haven’t served their well-being. These habits have often led to being out of shape, underweight, overweight, struggling with everyday activities, or even facing preventable joint issues.

​

That’s why I want to show you how to turn back the clock. Yes, you will certainly look better but you’ll also FEEL better, and that has such a positive knock-on effect, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it.
