Now that Spring is well and truly here, how are you finding your motivation to keep moving or for that matter even get started?
Not all training is equal and quite often we come across imbalances too late, through injury or weaknesses we weren't aware of due to incorrect training, overtraining or simply not finding a balance between one area of training and another and sometimes we realise that there may be more effective and efficient ways of training that can benefit both our bodies and lifestyles.
Whenever I work with clients I will quite often offer a combination of training systems that best suits what they are trying to achieve, what works right for them on that day in question or what will help to deliver the results they want. So whilst a standard cookie cutter delivery of weight training may seem the only way to train, for most this just isn't the case.
I'm too busy and never have time to do any training!
I have worked with clients from a variety of backgrounds in terms of what their lifestyle will allow. From professional athletes, pre-natal mums, working mums and dads, amateur runners, those with varying degrees of joint and muscular issues and seniors. As you can imagine a programme that would work for one, certainly would never be suitable for another!
Time is often the biggest factor and space. As a mum of two kids, I get it! Some clients will work with me for 30min sessions, others will have longer to spare. Some need the option to train from home because of work or children, whereas others prefer to be outdoors in the fresh air or in a studio, which is why Energise Wellbeing training will consistently adapt to the environment and time frame that works best for you.
So what is it that Energise Wellbeing does differently?
Combining my experience from the gym as well as yoga, barre, TRX, pre/post natal and strength and conditioning training is something that heavily influences and effects change to the benefit of my clients health and well-being.
It's not all physical!
Energise Wellbeing was created to encompass all of these areas to keep sessions varied, adaptable and ultimately to create a sense of well-being within my clients. Yes we should all ensure we carry out some form of fitness daily, but depending on your situation, your physical ability and goals, this will vary hugely and its not always about the grind! Your mental as well as your physical health is just as important.
