Overwhelmed, exhausted, lost??





❤️**RELEASE, REDUCE, LOWER**❤️

Do you.... eat to calm down? speak and eat very fast? drink alcohol or smoke? rush around but do not get much done? work too much? procrastinate? sleep too little, too much or both? slow down? try to do too many things at once? Stress is becoming increasingly linked to high blood pressure (hypertension) as well as other side affects such as headaches, asthma and IBS. Work, lack of exercise, feeling under pressure to be everything to everyone and losing yourself in the process (no time for yourself to decompress and take care of your health and wellbeing) these are all common grievances I hear from clients, who often have come to me because they get to a point they find they are no longer looking after themselves because they are trying to juggle the demands of work, friends and family. Outward appearances do not tell the true story of someone's inner turmoil nor how their body is coping. Exercise is one of the key ways in which we can RELEASE endorphins (happy hormones), REDUCE stress levels and in turn LOWER high blood pressure. Surely all good things and let's face it if you book in an hour with your PT no one else can take YOUR time!! It goes without saying cutting out smoking, cutting down alcohol and introducing mindfulness/meditation or yoga will also help to lower your stress levels, as will changing your job or just saying NO instead of YES to everything. Ultimately, if something is affecting your life to the point you feel stressed out daily look at what you can change. 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️Implement time into your calendar for you (no one else gets that time... Irrespective.. Its YOUR time.) 😡😵That job that is draining you every day... Change it! What are you scared of...
